Rio De Janiero, Brazil

When I booked a last-minute flight to Brazil, I didn’t know I would leave with a mural on the streets of São Paulo and a pocket full of memories that would shape my practice forever. The plan was to travel, observe, and let the city’s energy guide me. But as often happens, art found its way into the journey.

Within days, I connected with local artists who welcomed me into their circles without hesitation. We spoke different languages, but the spray cans and brushes spoke fluently enough for all of us. The mural we created together became a reflection of that moment: vibrant, layered, alive with the sounds of the city and the rhythm of shared creativity.
